What you'll do
- A gentle start A warm welcome and introduction to your equipment. We begin on the grass, ensuring you feel steady and settled before we even touch the water.
- The Safety Net We’ll walk you through simple self-rescue techniques. Knowing exactly what to do "if" you fall in takes the pressure off, allowing your body to stop bracing and start relaxing.
- Finding your balance Learn to move with the water rather than fighting it. We’ll help you transition from kneeling to standing at your own pace, focusing on a steady breath and a stable board.
- Explore & Reconnect A guided paddle downstream to experience the river’s natural rhythm. This is the time to notice the kingfishers and the quiet, giving your mind a chance to naturally recharge and reset.
- Confidence practice Plenty of time to play and find your flow on the river, always supported by instructors who are never in a rush.
- The Wrap-up A relaxed debrief on the bank to celebrate your progress (and high-fives all round).
