Ready to practice yoga with a difference? Why not reset your body and your mind in a whole new way this summer with accredited ASI SUP yoga instructor, Alex Wittering
New to paddleboarding? New to yoga? Doesn't matter all; our classes are carefully planned and curated so that anyone can have a go, and there is space to go at your own pace, perhaps challenge yourself or just enjoy a new experience.
SUP yoga is all about getting outdoors and embracing a new perspective. The added challenge of being on the water really helps to bring you into the moment, and even the simplest of poses can become challenging for even the most practised of yogis!
What you'll be doing...
We will meet at a stunning, secluded, private lake in Malvern, under the hills in breathtaking surroundings. We will have a short on-land briefing covering safety, equipment and any questions you might have before paddling out to the anchor rig where we will practice for an hour before heading back to base.
You will be able to try out various poses and postures on the calm, flat water of the lake without boat traffic or other water users to worry about. Alex will give you postures to suit your ability and options to challenge yourself if you like, you don’t need to have experience.
What is an ASI accredited SUP yoga instructor?
Alex is both a 200 hour qualified yoga teacher, an ASI SUP instructor and a qualified ASI SUP yoga instructor, so you're in very safe hands. , but you must be able to swim 50m unaided.
